Hotel Firenze is located in the historic center of Venice just 30 meters away from Piazza San Marco.
The building was first built at the beginning of the 16th century.
In 1853, it underwent a major renovation by the famous architect, Fuin. In designing the façade, he took inspiration from the Procuratie Vecchie of Piazza San Marco.
The result is amazingly elegant and stylish. With its balance of marble and iron, it retains the charm of the Liberty style
The building covers about 750 square meters. It features 25 rooms with views on four floors (with an elevator).
On the fifth floor, the guests can take advantage of a beautiful balcony with a gorgeous view of the city, the basin and the San Marco basilica

From the airport
From Marco Polo airport, you can take the ALILAGUNA Company public boat that departs for San Marco every hour. The trip takes approximately one hour and costs 19,000 lire per person. To get to the hotel from the boat landing, walk to the left, turn right on Calle Vallaresso and follow it to its end (it's about a 200 meter walk).
You may also take a private water taxi to Rio San Moisè for approximately 150,000 lire (rate includes two passengers with luggage)
By car
To get to Hotel Firenze from the Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto parking areas, take the n° 1 or n° 82 public boats. The fare is 6,000 lire per person. The closest stop is n° 15 "Vallaresso-San Marco". From the stop, follow Calle Vallaresso to its end (about a 100 meter walk).
You may also take a private water taxi to Rio San Moisè for approximately 100,000 lire (rate includes two passengers with luggage)
By train
