Das Hungaria Palace befindet sich am berühmten Lido von Venedig und ist 15 Minuten vom Markusplatz und dem Zentrum Venedigs entfernt.Zum Strand sind es nur 200 M. Das Hotel ist vom Flughafen und vom Bahnhof mit oeffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar. Mit dem eigenen Wagen benötigt man mit der Fähre vom Tronchetto nur 30 Minuten.
Built in 1905 - at the beginning of the fortune of the Lido of Venice as an exclusive holiday resort - in Reinassance style, the Hungaria Palace Hotel was enriched in 1914 by covering the entire facade with polychromatic majolica tiles.
The work, created by Luigi Fabris, the famous ceramist from Bassano was completed before the first world war; it is a unique example of the expansion, even in Venice, of a Viennese flavour for facade decoration.
Furniture in all rooms is original and was made by the famous master ebanist Eugenio Quarti (1867-1929), one of the leading artists of italian Art Nouveau

Located at the center of Venice's Lido island, the Hungaria Palace Hotel is just five minutes from the boat stops for St. Mark's Square and five minutes from the famous beach.
You can easily reach the hotel by car with only 25 minutes trip by ferry-boat from Tronchetto terminal, through the Giudecca Canal: a very amazing route and an exciting impact for those arriving in Venice for the first time.
From Marco Polo airport you can use the public boat directly to the Lido or a private taxi-boat; from Santa Lucia railway station 2 "vaporetto lines" will transfer you to the Lido after an astonishing route through the "Canal Grande".
