The elegant Locanda Sant'Agostin is located in the rooms of the Piano Nobile of a Sixteenth Century patrician palazzo, and is the result of careful restoration work (completed in 2001). The Locanda Sant'Agostin is situated in an authentic, lively district that is home totypical trattorias, traditional "bacari", well-known restaurants, goldsmiths' workshops, wine bars and artisan's workshops. A short walk from the Inn is the Campo San Giacomo dall'Orio, a small space in the middle of Venice and a favourite place for young children, who can often be seen playing there in the afternoon. This Campo is flanked by several cafes and typical "bacari", which serve the traditional "Spriz" aperitif.

How to get there:
From MARCO POLO AIRPORT:
The international airport Marco Polo is situated in Tessera, 7 miles by car and 6 miles by motorboat from Venice.
From the airport, You can take ACTV bus N° 5 or the ATVO bus to Piazzale Roma ( road terminal). Alternatively you can take a private water taxi directly to the hotel door ( rio di Sant' Agostin).
From PIAZZALE ROMA (the road terminal):
Take the public water bus n° 1 to the fourth stop "San Stae" (about 8 minutes) then a minute walk will bring you straight to Campo Sant’Agostin and the Locanda. If you take a private water-taxi, it will bring you right to the hotel entrance.

From SANTA LUCIA RAILWAY STATION:
Take ACTV water bus N° 1 (six minutes) to the 3rd stop, "San Stae" and a three minute walk will bring you straight to Campo Sant’Agostin and the Locanda. If you take a private water-taxi, it will bring you right to the hotel entrance.

From the water stop straight on to Campo Sant’Agostin (about 3 minutes ).
From ST. MARK’S (San Marco):
From the ACTV water-stop "Vallaresso" take bus N°82 to the "San Tomŕ" stop (about 6 minutes) then a three minute walk will bring you straight into Campo Sant’ Agostin and the Locanda. If you take a private water-taxi, it will bring you right to the hotel entrance.
For those arriving at the road terminal (Piazzale Roma) or the railway station (Santa Lucia), the Locanda Sant’Agostin is a five to ten minute walk following the map.
