Railway Station
If you arrive by train, your starting point is the S. Lucia railway station. The "vaporetto" stop is just outside it. Take the no.1 vaporetto – it takes you on a ride through the Grand Canal lasting about a 50 minutes. The no. 51 is a more direct to route to the Lido.
The cost is about Lit. 6,000 one way. To save money, we suggest you get a 3-day (72-hour) pass (Lit. 35.000) or a one-day (24-hour) pass; this give you unlimited rides on the boats and buses.
Autoroute
If you'll arrive by car, take the ferryboat direct to the Lido. It leaves every 40 minutes from the Tronchetto area.
